About OvalRug
OvalRug is an independent shopping guide with a single, slightly obsessive focus: oval rugs. Most rug sites treat ovals as an afterthought — a filter option buried under hundreds of rectangles. We built this site because finding a good oval rug shouldn't require that much digging.
How we choose products
Every pick on this site is researched, not tested. We review materials, construction methods, size availability, care instructions and retailer information before anything appears on a page. We do not claim hands-on testing, and we never show star ratings or review scores we haven't verified.
- Material and construction quality, from product specifications
- Availability in real oval sizes — not just "custom order"
- Care requirements, and whether "washable" holds up at larger sizes
- Price relative to comparable options
How this site makes money
When you click a "Check price" button and buy from a retailer, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. That's the whole business model. Retailers don't pay for placement, and commissions don't influence which products we include or how we describe them. Read our full affiliate disclosure.
A note on prices
Prices shown on this site are approximate and may differ from the retailer's current price. Always check the retailer page for the final price, sizes in stock, and shipping details.
How we pick products
Every product listed is a real oval rug sold by the named retailer. We record the date we last checked each listing, and we only show a price when we have one — we never estimate or invent prices.
